Theme Options
FXT theme provides comprehensive options to customize your website through the FXT Options admin panel.
Accessing Theme Options
To access theme options:
- In WordPress dashboard, click on FXT Options in the left sidebar
- You'll be taken to the main options page with multiple sections
Dashboard Widget
A FXT Theme widget is added to your WordPress Dashboard (Dashboard → Home) for a quick overview without opening FXT Options:
- Broker Stats: Total, published, and draft broker counts, each linking to the matching list
- Quick Links: Shortcuts to add a new broker, open Theme Options, and open Integrations
- Incomplete Broker Data: Flags published brokers missing a logo, rating, or account link, with a link to edit each one
- License Status: Shows a renewal notice if your license has expired
Main Options Sections
License Key
Register your theme to receive updates.
Location: License Key section in FXT Options
Settings:
- License Key: Enter your license key from DinoMatic account
- Activate/Deactivate License: Manage license status
Broker Options
Configure broker-related settings and features.
Location: Broker Options section in FXT Options
Settings:
- Broker Page Slug: Set the URL slug for broker pages
- Rich Snippets: Enable/disable structured data for broker pages
- Rich Snippet Author: Set the author for rich snippets
- Author Block: Enable/disable author information blocks
- Author Full Block: Enable/disable full author blocks
- Second Author Block: Show the second author's (fact-checker's) full profile block after the main content. When a broker has a second author set, they're always shown in the page header regardless of this setting
- Table of Contents: Enable/disable TOC on broker pages
- Comments: Enable/disable comments on broker review pages
- Breadcrumbs: Enable/disable breadcrumbs on broker review pages, and choose whether they appear in the header or in the content (only shown if breadcrumbs are enabled globally)
Affiliate Links
Define additional named affiliate links, beyond each broker's main Real Account Link.
Location: Affiliate Links section in FXT Options
Settings:
- Up to 10 link labels (e.g. "Crypto", "CFD") — only labeled slots are usable
- Once a label is set here, a matching URL field appears on every broker's edit screen
- Labeled links become selectable in the Listing block's Affiliate Link Override option, so a single listing can point to a different link than the broker's main Real Account Link
- If a broker has no URL set for the chosen link, it falls back to the Real Account Link automatically
Page Options
Configure settings for regular pages.
Location: Page Options section in FXT Options
Settings:
- Author Block: Enable/disable author information blocks on pages
- Author Full Block: Enable/disable full author blocks on pages
- Table of Contents: Enable/disable TOC on pages
Post Options
Configure settings for blog posts.
Location: Post Options section in FXT Options
Settings:
- Author Block: Enable/disable author information blocks on posts
- Author Full Block: Enable/disable full author blocks on posts
- Table of Contents: Enable/disable TOC on posts
Social Media Options
Configure social media links and settings.
Location: Social Media Options section in FXT Options
Settings:
- Social Media Links: Add links to your social media profiles
- These links will be displayed on the website
